The New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene’s Division of Mental Hygiene (DMH) is seeking a strategic, equity-driven communications leader to serve as Director of Communications within the Office of the Executive Deputy Commissioner (EDC). This is an opportunity to shape how eight million New Yorkers understand and access behavioral health services, through compelling public messaging, media engagement, and community-centered communication strategies.

However, City Employees in certain titles who have worked for the City for 2 continuous years may also be eligible to reside in Nassau, Suffolk, Putnam, Westchester, Rockland, or Orange County.
