The DOHMH IT Division is seeking a highly analytical IT Product Specialist. In this role, you will apply rigorous research, data analysis, and evaluation methodologies to define, prioritize, and drive the development of IT products that directly enhance public health program operations. You will act as the bridge between technical development teams and program stakeholders, ensuring that our digital products are data-informed, user-centric, and strategically aligned with agency goals.
Experience with SQL, Python, or R for data analysis and visualization (e.g., Power BI, Tableau). Solid understanding of the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Proven ability to communicate technical concepts, research findings, and complex data sets to non-technical stakeholders and executive leadership. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple high-stakes projects simultaneously while maintaining strict adherence to regulatory standards. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Visio, Project) and familiarity with cloud-based applications Why you should work for us:
