The Team You’ll Work With: The Facilities, Construction Management and Operations unit is responsible for overseeing the maintenance of city-owned buildings occupied by units of the Mayor's Office including historic City Hall. In addition, the unit works on project to create, improve, and streamline office space for staff of the Mayor's Office and other city agencies such as building-out office space using the open office plan, renovation projects to upgrade the infrastructure of Mayoral Office facilities, and conservation of valuable public artifacts located in various city-owned and landmarked buildings. The Facilities, Construction Management and Operations unit is seeking a motivated individual to work in the capacity of a laborer.
The Problems You’ll Solve: The Laborer will be responsible for making daily deliveries to all Mayoral agencies. In this position, the laborer is responsible for training new staff in similar role in addition to executing tasks requested by the Director and Supervisor, which include but not limited to:

New York City residency is generally required within 90 days of appointment. However, City Employees in certain titles who have worked for the City for 2 continuous years may also be eligible to reside in Nassau, Suffolk, Putnam, Westchester, Rockland, or Orange County.
