Key Essential Functions: The Mobile Outreach Driver will report to the Executive Director of Facilities and Operations. The Driver will drive SBS’s Mobile Outreach Unit (MOU) to various outreach events throughout the 5 boroughs while ensuring the vehicle maintains a state of cleanliness and good working order. When not driving the MOU, this individual will be assigned tasks as part of the agency’s authorized Fleet drivers and will also assist with various facilities related task including but not limited to performing pickups and deliveries of items and routine clerical tasks.

Education and Experience Requirements: There are no formal education or experience requirements.
Driver License Requirement: By the time you are appointed to this position, you must have a motor vehicle driver license valid in the State of New York. If you have moving violations, license suspension(s) or an accident record, you may be disqualified. This license must be maintained for the duration of your employment.
New York City residency is generally required within 90 days of appointment. However, City Employees in certain titles who have worked for the City for 2 continuous years may also be eligible to reside in Nassau, Suffolk, Putnam, Westchester, Rockland, or Orange County. To determine if the residency requirement applies to you, please discuss with the agency representative at the time of interview.
