Provide skilled care to the Veterans who reside at the Home, such as but not limited to: bathing, dressing, feeding, general hygiene, transfer of residents, care of ostomies, colostomy & ileostomy, maintenance of individual range of motion to prevent contractures, recognition and reporting of abnormal signs and symptoms of common conditions/diseases, measurement and recording of fluid intake, and assistance to the health care team in treatments and observations, along with all aspects of daily living care. May accompany the transport of residents to outside appointments.
Current New York Certification as a Nursing Assistant.
Reassignment: Current New York State Department of Health St. Albans' employees with permanent or contingent permanent status as a Nursing Assistant Certified, Grade
8.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a Long-Term Care Facility.
