***Transfer Opportunity
Under direct supervision, the selected candidate will monitor radio frequencies, answer radio calls in the prescribed manner, transmit information to field personnel, permittees, and office personnel as dictated in the standard operating procedures; records, tracks and responds to telephone calls, emails and other related inquiries accurately logging transmissions as necessary; coordinates inter-agency and intra-agency responses to incidents and emergencies, by phone/email. Forwards unresolved matters to appropriate staff and offices for further action.
Performs accurate data entry and retrieval on various systems.
Create comprehensive and accurate incident descriptions, and collects accurate location information. Makes visual inspection of all operating equipment or arrange to have maintenance done by designated personnel.
Participate in training sessions as necessary.
May be required to work unscheduled or extended hours as needed; performs related tasks as needed.
Special Note To be eligible for placement in Assignment Level II, individuals must have at least two years of experience in Assignment Level I.
Preference will be given to candidate who has intermediate to advance computer skills related to MS Office Suite and very good communication, organization and writing skills
