The Office of Executive Administration is a shared services team that provides essential administrative support services to multiple bureaus and offices within the Agency as well as multiple Mayoral Offices that support the Agency’s mission including direct support services to the DEP Sr. Leadership Team. The shared service functions provided by the team include budget maintenance, human resources management, procurement, facilities management, and office services.
Under the guidance of the Director of Procurement, the Procurement Supervisor oversees the day to day operations of the Executive Administration procurement unit and ensures all procurement activities comply with internal agency policies and the New York City Procurement Policy Board (PPB) Rules. The Procurement Supervisor provides leadership, technical guidance, and operational support to staff while managing the full procurement lifecycle from needs assessment through contract registration. This role acts as a critical liaison between program units, vendors, and oversight bodies, ensuring that procurements are conducted efficiently and in alignment with agency and Citywide standards.

To be eligible for placement in Assignment Level II, individuals must have, after meeting the minimum requirements, either one year served at Assignment Level I or one additional year of the experience described in "1" above.
To be eligible for placement in Assignment Level III, individuals must have, after meeting the minimum requirements, either one year served at Assignment Level II or two additional years of the experience described in "1" above, at least one year of which must have been supervisory, or spent performing professional procurement duties equivalent to those performed at Assignment Level III.
New York City residency is generally required within 90 days of appointment. However, City Employees in certain titles who have worked for the City for 2 continuous years may also be eligible to reside in Nassau, Suffolk, Putnam, Westchester, Rockland, or Orange County. To determine if the residency requirement applies to you, please discuss with the agency representative at the time of interview.
