The Senior Admin Analyst with DMI, working under the direction of a Business Systems Analyst III, will focus on evaluating organizational processes and systems to identify inefficiencies and implement strategic improvements. The incumbent will collect data, document current and future-state workflows, and perform system testing to ensure successful implementations. Additionally, they will provide technical support, resolve system issues, and develop comprehensive training materials and manuals to guide end-users through procedural changes.
Specific duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

Senior Administrative Analyst (G18)($70,951): Six years of experience conducting management and organizational studies to review and revise procedures for new or changing programs, review organizational performance, and develop internal controls; collecting data and conducting cost benefit or systems analysis to assist with organizational change; evaluating and developing recommendations to improve program operations and effectiveness; and designing and updating procedure manuals, forms, and policy.
Administrative Analyst Trainee 2 ($63,994): Five years of experience conducting management and organizational studies to review and revise procedures for new or changing programs, review organizational performance, and develop internal controls; collecting data and conducting cost benefit or systems analysis to assist with organizational change; evaluating and developing recommendations to improve program operations and effectiveness; and designing and updating procedure manuals, forms, and policy.
Administrative Analyst Trainee 1 ($57,764): Four years of experience conducting management and organizational studies to review and revise procedures for new or changing programs, review organizational performance, and develop internal controls; collecting data and conducting cost benefit or systems analysis to assist with organizational change; evaluating and developing recommendations to improve program operations and effectiveness; and designing and updating procedure manuals, forms, and policy.
*Associate degree may substitute for two years of specialized experience; bachelor's degree may substitute for four years of specialized experience; master's degree may substitute five years of specialized experience; J.D. may substitute for six years of specialized experience.
Transfer:
Candidates must have permanent status as a Senior Administrative Analyst and be eligible for lateral transfer; OR be eligible for transfer under Section 70.1 or 52.6 of the Civil Service Law by having one year of permanent competitive service in a qualifying title within two salary grades.
